To be honest, I don\’t like political bullshit at all. I mean, not that it is directly political bullshit, but I clearly do not enjoy it. My friends, for example, always talk about politics. I understand that politics is really important or interesting to some people, but if someone like me has no interest in politics, why should I bother with it? Why does someone always have to tell me what to do, what to talk about, what to listen to on TV? My friends subscribe to various magazines dealing with politics and world politics.
Personally, I don\’t enjoy this at all and it rather takes up my free time. I don\’t like Czech politics, and of course I don\’t like world politics. Obviously it doesn\’t interest me at all, nor is it interesting.Besides, it bothers me greatly that my friends keep forcing me to participate. Obviously, if I am not interested in something and do not enjoy it, why should I do it? My friend has gotten mad at me a couple of times. Because I don\’t want to talk politics with her, or because I don\’t want to vote. But if I don\’t want to vote, why should I?
Also, I really like history books and encyclopedias and I don\’t force my friends to read them. I don\’t like political books and would probably laugh if I saw my friend\’s library. Because my friend has a collection of books that are only geographical or mainly political. And I don\’t enjoy that at all. If someone were as interested in politics as my friend is, she says, my friend would be best friends with that person, and if she had a partner, she would demand that he or she be interested in politics, too. Then my friend has a good prospect. She needs to look closely for someone who is particularly interested in politics.
