But politicians remember. The Ministry of Environment is already preparing a change in the law, according to which such flyers will also have to pay a recycling fee. This would make the flyers more expensive and thus allow retailers to print less. This is because there is too much waste in disposable flyers. Twenty thousand tons of paper are disposed of annually.

I think its a good idea. Why print and distribute something that most of us probably don\’t care about? At least judging by the number of mailboxes with signs that say do not drop off flyers. However, according to the Czech Republic Council for the Elderly, this is clear discrimination against the elderly, who often do not have the Internet, computers, or smart phones. And they suffer from fewer flyers, limited free access to information, and social discrimination against the elderly, they say.
